    Job description

    The Director of Community Evangelism provides overall strategy, leadership, coordination, and accountability for the church's evangelism efforts. The Director ensures that every assigned community has an evangelism presence, every territory has appropriate leadership, evangelists are properly trained and developed, and individuals reached through evangelism are connected to follow-up and discipleship.

    Position Is

    Stipend - $1,200 – $2,000 per month

    Length of Service Commitment

    one year minimum

    Anticipated Time Commitments:

    1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 12-15 hours per week

    2. Participating in meetings/training: As requested

    Responsibilities/Duties:

    1. Develop and implement the church's overall Community Evangelism strategy.
    2. Establish measurable evangelism goals and objectives for the ministry.
    3. Provide oversight for Territory & Neighborhood, Training & Development, Communication & Mobilization, Follow-Up & Assimilation, Data & Accountability, and Recognition functions.
    4. Ensure every evangelist has an assigned territory, and every territory has an assigned leader.
    5. Develop a leadership pipeline that moves individuals from volunteer participation into evangelists, coaches, and ministry leaders.
    6. Establish systems for training, deployment, field coaching, reporting, follow-up, and discipleship.
    7. Review weekly and monthly evangelism data and identify opportunities, gaps, and areas requiring additional support.
    8. Ensure reported decisions are connected to a defined follow-up and assimilation process.
    9. Communicate evangelism progress, challenges, testimonies, and results to church leadership.
    10. Create a culture in which evangelism is consistently practiced, measured, celebrated, and multiplied.

     Evangelism outcome:

    WITNESSED → DECISION → RECORDED → CONTACTED → CONNECTED → DISCIPLED → ESTABLISHED
