The economic empowerment servant leader team member is responsible for supporting the goals and objectives of the ministry through various tasks and activities that promote financial and community growth.

Anticipated Time Commitments

1.    Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 2-3 hours a week

2.    Participating in meetings/training: once a week or as requested

Responsibilities/Duties 

1. Host staff meetings if called upon.
2. Research job and seminar opportunities for community and church members.
3. Compose and publish newsletters as requested.
4. Participate or chair/co-chair annual conference.
5. Contribute to the planning of periodic fundraising events.
6. Serve and support seminars that educate the church family about:
   1. home buying,
   2. credit management,
   3. Living on a budgeting
   4. Working with the local financial lending institutions
   5. Investing for dreams, retirement, death etc.
7. Complete additional Economic Empowerment duties as assigned.

Note: This department is responsible for hosting at least 4 Seminars per year focusing on the following pillars of economic empowerment:
