Thrive Courtesy Captains

The courtesy captain will make courtesy calls to young adults enrolled within THRIVE for prayer, life-building, and reminders for upcoming events and opportunities.

Length of Service Commitment

1 year minimum

Anticipated Time Commitments:

1.    Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 2 hrs/wk; 1 hr sessions 2x per week

2.    Participating in meetings/training: 1-2hrs/month

Responsibilities/Duties:

1.    Makes calls to young adults enrolled in THRIVE for prayer, opportunities for service, and life building.

2.    Sends weekly data report to directors from the calls they made that week. Report is due every Friday at 5pm via email or text. All data that is captured is reviewed by Thrive directors every 6 months.

Weekly reports should gather the following information:

• Who was called?
• Are there any high points that can be celebrated?
• Are there any low points where prayer or support can be provided?
• What are their goals?
• Were they directed to a service/ministry within UCFM that can help them more appropriately?
• Were they given biblical guidance/counsel?
• Have they found a ministry to serve within UCFM?

3.    Assist directors with prayer targets for the young adult community, updating the prayer list as needed.

4.    Greet incoming guests at Thrive events.
