Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing both hardware and software issues. Responsibilities:
Diagnose and Troubleshoot:
- Identify and resolve hardware and software problems efficiently.
- Provide timely solutions to technical issues faced by customers.
Customer Interaction:
- Explain complex technical concepts in a simple, non-technical manner.
- Offer recommendations for problem resolution.
- Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers.
Quality Standards:
- Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix by Asurion quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and fixes for future reference.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Greet customers warmly and maintain a positive work environment.
- Answer phone calls professionally and courteously.
- Exceed customer expectations by delivering superior service through the “serve, solve, and sell” approach.
Inventory Management:
- Keep track of all devices and safeguard store stock.
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to maintain real-time customer information and repair status.
Maintenance:
- Set up hardware, install, and configure software and drivers.
- Maintain and repair technological equipment (e.g., routers) and peripheral devices.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proven technical, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with repair of computer hardware and software
- Experience in soldering. Preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with internet security and data privacy principles.
Customer Service:
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A+ Certification.
- Wise Certification.
- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT).
- Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles.
- Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics
- Previous experience working at retail electronics store
- Flexibility for variable retail schedules.
- Pass background checks: criminal record, driving record and drug test screening.
