    Jubilee Center Assistant—Lisa’s Love Food Pantry

    The Lisa's Love Food Pantry Student Assistant is a Federal Work-Study position that supports the daily operations of the campus food pantry by helping ensure students have access to nutritious food and essential personal care items. The student employee assists with inventory management, customer service, food distribution, and community outreach while promoting a welcoming, respectful, and confidential environment for all pantry visitors.

    Responsibilities and Career Competencies

    • Welcome and assist pantry visitors with professionalism, compassion, respect, and confidentiality. (C, P, CTR)
    • Receive, inspect, sort, and stock donations following pantry and food safety guidelines. (P, CT, TW)
    • Monitor inventory, rotate stock using FIFO practices, and remove expired or damaged items. (CT, P, CSD)
    • Assist students with pantry procedures and locating available resources. (C, P, CTR)
    • Maintain accurate inventory, donation, distribution, and usage records. (T, P, CT)
    • Support food drives, donation campaigns, volunteer events, and outreach initiatives. (C, TW, L, CTR)
    • Create promotional and social media content to increase pantry awareness and engagement. (C, T, CTR, CSD)
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pantry environment. (P, TW, CT)
    • Collaborate with campus and community partners to support pantry operations and events. (C, TW, L, CTR)
    • Demonstrate dependability, ethical stewardship, and commitment to serving the campus community. (P, CSD, CTR)
