    KYCO Student Affairs Office Assistant

    Division: KYCO              Department: Student Affairs                   Experience: Entry-level

    Job Code: TBD                 Supervisor/Reports To: Joshua Justice

    Start Date: 8/24/2026

    Serve as a front-line representative for KYCO Student Affairs by providing clerical support, assisting with events, and supporting departmental communication and outreach efforts in a professional medical school setting.

    Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

    1. Attend front desk and act as first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing information on office policies and procedures – CT, C, P, CTR
    2. Assist with and contribute to events hosted by departmental staff – C, TW, P
    3. Develop relationships with faculty, staff, and students in a professional, medical school environment – C, CTR, P
    4. Contribute to projects involving data analysis, social media, web content, and budgeting – CT, C, TW, T
    5. Make campus deliveries and provide clerical support including proofreading and filing – TW
    6. Use MS Word, Excel, and phone systems; compile data using software programs – T
    7. Prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work inclusively in diverse settings – L, CTR
    8. Maintain confidentiality, be punctual, and communicate schedule changes in advance – P
    9. Effectively communicate availability and skills in letter of application – CSD

    Education Requirements: Must be a current UPIKE student in good standing.

    Preferred Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Social Media & New Technology, attention to detail, strong active listening abilities, public speaking, written & verbal communication, customer focused, willingness to learn new things.

    Work Schedule: Flexible depending on student schedule; generally Monday–Friday.

    Physical Demands: Keyboarding, Reaching/handling, Stooping/kneeling, Crouching/crawling, Climbing, Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.

    Number of Positions: 1

    Pay Rate: $8.75/hour

    Location: KYCO Student Affairs Office (HPE 401-A)
