Responsibilities:
The Center for Community Health & Prevention works to create environments that support healthy behaviors, encompassing a variety of programs and initiatives aimed at preventing disease to create a healthier community. The Center for Community Health & Prevention’s Teen Health and Success Partnership (THSP) program matches local high school students with employment opportunities at the University of Rochester and provides hiring and employment assistance to support students’ long-term career success. The THSP aims to provide local students with the vision and job skills for a range of educational and career options after graduation, and enables URochester departments to employ well-prepared youth from the local community.
