    Sessional Lecturer, Curriculum Studies, ECUR 362 (Pelican Narrows, SK)

    The Department of Curriculum Studies in the College of Education and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer to teach the following community-based courses during the following session(s):
    Winter 2027 Session
    Course Number, Section, and Name:
    ECUR 362.3 (E12) Introduction to Principles and Practices of Second Language Teaching
    Term and Course Dates: Term 2 (January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027)
    CRN: 33277
    Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture (Live in-person in Pelican Narrows, SK.
    Course Schedule:
    Actual days/times to be determined in consultation with the successful applicant at the discretion of program. Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no evenings or weekends without special permission.
    Expected Enrollment Limit: 35
    Location: Pelican Narrows, SK (approx. 5.5hrs NE of Saskatoon).
    Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Education or a related discipline and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to engaging with Indigenous ways of knowing and to fostering respectful, reciprocal learning environments. They must also possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit culture as well as indigenization and the decolonization of pedagogy to uplift and support Indigenous students.
    A valid driver’s license is required for any off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
