This is an opportunity to work alongside dynamic, subspecialty-trained faculty and our Otolaryngology residents within one of Florida's leading academic ENT programs—a department recognized among U.S. News & World Report's top 50 ENT service lines for five consecutive years and ranked among the top 20 nationally for research funding by the Blue Ridge Institute.
New graduates and experienced APPs are both encouraged to apply; structured onboarding, faculty mentorship, and graduated clinical autonomy are central to how we develop our team.

    • Learn and progressively perform basic Otolaryngology procedures, including flexible laryngoscopy, cerumen management, and nasal endoscopy/debridement, with structured faculty teaching.
    • Triage patient phone calls and clinical inbox messages, including prescription renewals, perioperative concerns, and urgent scheduling needs.
    • Partner with our nursing team on clinical education and protocol development, from procedure setup to patient instruction.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including audiology, speech-language pathology, and oncology—to ensure coordinated care.

    DIVISIONAL & QUALITY –

    • Take ownership of a divisional program area, such as cancer survivorship, in partnership with faculty leadership.
    • Contribute to quality improvement work focused on access, transitions of care, patient experience, and outcomes.

    TEACHING & RESEARCH –

    • Teach at the bedside and in clinic with our residents and rotating medical students and participate in departmental conferences and multidisciplinary tumor boards.
    • Opportunities to join departmental clinical research and scholarly projects—with co-authorship and presentation at regional and national meetings—are available to those interested.
    • Pursue ongoing professional development through CME and specialty society engagement (e.g., SPAO-HNS, AAPA, SOHN, AANP).

    ADMINISTRATIVE –
