The Psychology Department is seeking a proactive individual as a work study. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the daily operations of the department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby, copy room, and lounge areas.
- Handle mail pickup and drop-off, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide general clerical support, including answering phones and greeting visitors.
- Ensure printers are well-stocked with paper and assist with paper jams.
- Ensure classrooms have supplies.
- Assist with basic office supplies inventory management.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student at The University of Tulsa.
- Qualified for Federal Workstudy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and maintenance.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Previous work experience in an office setting is an asset.
