    Job Summary:

    3 positions that will work in the Lake View Lounge back of house cooking menu items along with prep work and in the Strada will primarily be a cook but will also serve in customer service functions like preparing pizzas, pasta bowls, & interacting with guests. These positions are Temporary positions that will end on 12/16/2026.

    Performs a variety of food preparation activities and related tasks according to quality and safety standards in dining, venues to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve departmental food service goals.

    Schedule:

    Weekly Schedule: subject to change based on business needs. These positions are Temporary positions that will end on 12/16/2026.

    Position 1:        Mon – Fri            11am – 5pm

    Position 2:        Wed – Sun        4pm – 10pm

    Position 3:        Thu – Sun          12pm – 6pm

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Trains and guides student workers
    • Greets customers, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation and associated activities
    • Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas
    • Performs routine and non-routine food preparation activities including cook to order and specialty foods
    • Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures

    Compensation:

    $18.00 per hour

    *Differential Weekend pay for work performed on Saturday and Sunday $.80 per hours is added.

    *Differential night pay, for work performed between 6pm-6am an addition $2.50 per hour added.

    Required Qualifications:

    3 months of work experience
