Technical Challenge
The Senior Data Scientist/Analyst will transform complex data into actionable insights that guide product, business, and venture-building decisions. This person will apply data science, machine learning, analytics, and data engineering practices to help teams identify opportunities, measure performance, and build scalable data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical frameworks, models, and insights that support business intelligence, product strategy, and venture decision-making.
- Apply data science and machine learning methods to identify patterns, build predictive models, and solve complex business problems.
- Design and maintain data workflows that enable reliable data collection, transformation, analysis, and reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into clear analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
- Create dashboards, reports, and data narratives that communicate performance trends, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and usability across analytical and machine learning initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong ability to apply data science and machine learning techniques to real-world business and product challenges.
- Experience developing analytics and business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making.
- Working knowledge of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, data transformation, and data reliability.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
- Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing structured data.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup or venture-building environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GCP and BigQuery.
