We are looking for a fixed-term AI Engineer (October 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) to join the Fibres Data Management & Analytics team and help build the next generation of agent-based data and analytics solutions and development workflows.

What you will do
In this role, you will work on developing business AI agents and agentic platforms, enabling users to interact with structured and unstructured enterprise data through intelligent, scalable, and governed AI solutions. You will focus on agent tooling, integrations, deployments, metadata integration rather than traditional analytics or data modelling.
This role requires immediate contribution and is not a training position.
Your responsibilities will include:
Define, configure, deploy, and maintain AI agents on the Snowflake & internal Azure App platform
Manage DBT-based agent deployments, configurations, permissions, and tool definitions
Design and develop agent tools, MCP integrations, APIs, and connectivity to enterprise systems
Build and evolve agent orchestration capabilities across multiple data sources and services
Enable the integration of structured and unstructured information through metadata-driven approaches
Leverage GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software development
Contribute to governance, monitoring, evaluation, and operationalization of agentic AI solutions
Collaborate closely with business experts, architects, and platform and CoE teams (AI CoE, DDE etc.) to turn business challenges into scalable AI capabilities
Who you are
You hold a Master's degree in a relevant technical or business field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
You have hands-on experience with modern software and data platforms, including technologies such as Python, SQL, Snowflake, DBT, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
You have experience with Snowflake Cortex, AI agents, RAG architectures, search technologies and CI/CD pipelines
You have experience designing and implementing technical tools, automation, integrations, and development processes that enable analytics, AI, or software development teams to operate efficiently at scale
You are familiar with metadata management, semantic models, and techniques for connecting structured and unstructured information to support AI-driven solutions and knowledge discovery
You have an interest in agentic AI, LLM-based applications, MCP/API integrations, and AI-assisted software development practices. Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI development tools is considered an advantage
You bring a proactive and analytical mindset, take ownership of challenges, and enjoy building reusable capabilities that help others succeed. You thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and are excited by learning and applying new technologies
You have experience working closely with Product Owners, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical capabilities
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are considered an asset
