We are now looking for a Director, Technical Marketing and Services, a new leader of our Technical Marketing and Services organisation, consisting of Technical Customer Service, Product Management and our Tissue Competence Centre. You will be leading a global team of experts providing our customers superior support across a wide range of paper industries.

What you will do

• Develop our global position as the leading multi-fibre supplier of advanced technical support, services and development, to demanding customers
• Lead and work together with teams of experts across the geographies we operate in, to ensure we live up to and surpass customer expectations
• Build and develop strong relationships with customers, making sure we incorporate and act on their feedback
• Proactively collaborate with other teams in our organisation to identify opportunities for product improvement and development based on customer feedback
• Lead our product development work across the Business Area, i.e. both Fibres South and Fibres North
• Act as a proactive member of the Pulp Sales Management team
• Travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events

Who you are 

• You have solid knowledge of the pulp and paper industry gained from a commercial, production or technical role
• We view experience in the Tissue industry as a strong asset
• You have a relevant university or college degree
• You possess strong communication, networking and influencing skills
• You have proven team leadership skills and strategic thinking
• You are result-oriented, with a proven history of achieving goals and ensuring customer satisfaction
• You are fluent in English. Additional languages are a significant advantage

Additional information

The primary location is Helsinki Biofore House, but it is negotiable.

The position holder will report to Senior Vice President, Pulp Sales.
