Description
The .Net Senior Developer must have extensive knowledge of object oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns in addition to current technologies/approaches. They must be comfortable developing web applications in C# with ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework. The .Net Senior Developer must be comfortable with working in an collaborative and agile environment as well as providing guidance and support to the other developers on the team. They are not afraid to propose solutions that challenge the status quo and have a willingness to own and drive both large projects and small tasks as required.
Qualifications
Extensive commercial development experience in C# and ASP.Net MVC
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery
Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server including Strong T-SQL (Stored Procedure) skills.
Experience implementing front-end components optimized for speed and cross-browser compatibility.
Knowledge of modern JavaScript programming patterns, such as client-side MVC, dynamic resource loading, event-driven programming, etc.
Exposure to .Net 4.5
Knowledge of Restful, .Net Web API and WCF Web Services, ADO.NET, SQL Server 2008/2012.
Commercial development experience with SOA and related technologies.
Experience with Team Foundation Server.
Comfortable with Test Driven Development using mocking frameworks and libraries eg Moq, MsTest
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
