• Full- time
• Starting Rate: $24.61 + 1.00 shift differential
• New hires start with 3 weeks’ paid vacation.

Job Description: 

The person hired for the position of Machine Operator I will work at our 3M Aearo Technologies Newark Delaware site.

As a Machine Operator I you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

Your Skills and Expertise 

• Operator Hydraulic Die Cutting Press.
• Pulling, packing and labeling orders per established procedures & customer requirements.
• Process orders and inventory paperwork according to established procedures.
• Operate Atom Flash Cutter.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications.

Required: (Basic Qualifications):

• Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing or production environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

(Preferred Qualifications)

• 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing or production environment
• 1 to 2 years operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proven troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read measurement tools in metric format such as rulers, tape measure, and drop gauge.

Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.

The starting rate of pay for this position is $24.61. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
