    Job Overview:

    EFESO Management Consultants is looking for Maintenance and Reliability Contract Professionals to provide expert advice and services to organizations on optimizing their maintenance and reliability programs. You will help companies improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, lower maintenance costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency. This includes conducting analysis, developing strategies, providing training, and implementing best practices. Industry focus on either Process Manufacturing, including; Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Specialty & Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Metals/Mining or Discrete Manufacturing.

    Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance and Reliability Consultant:

    • Root Cause Analysis: Identifying the underlying causes of equipment failures to prevent recurrence.
    • Data Analysis: Analyzing equipment performance data to identify trends, predict failures, and optimize maintenance activities.
    • Maintenance Strategy Development: Creating and implementing maintenance plans that align with business objectives, considering criticality, risk, and cost.
    • Risk Assessment: Conducting risk assessments to prioritize maintenance efforts and minimize potential downtime or safety hazards.
    • Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Developing and implementing programs for preventing failures before they occur and using predictive technologies to identify potential issues in advance.
    • Training and Support: Providing training and technical support to maintenance personnel to ensure proper implementation and utilization of maintenance strategies.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and maintenance practices.
    • Asset Management: Managing assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to decommissioning, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
    • Cost Optimization: Analyzing and optimizing maintenance costs to reduce overall expenses without compromising reliability.
    • Collaboration and Communication: Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including maintenance managers, process engineers, operators, and other stakeholders, to achieve common goals.

    Accountabilities/Results/Success:

    • Maintaining and improving the QRO (Quantitative Reliability Optimization) program at the site
    • Influencing the customer through data driven justifications to make better reliability decisions

    • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects from start to finish.

    Work Environment & Additional Information

    • Type of role: Contract
    • Travel: 80-100%, on-site client location(s)
    • Client environments: may require standing and/or walking for long periods
    • Proficiency in English and French, preferred
    • Location: Job opportunities open to all Canada locations, preferred regions (must be close to an airport):

    Central Canada - Ontario (ON), Quebec (QC), Western Canada (The West Coast & Prairies): British Columbia (BC), Alberta (AB), Saskatchewan (SK), Atlantic/Maritime Provinces (East Coast): Nova Scotia (NS), New Brunswick (NB)

    • Relocation: Not offered at this time
    • Background check and Drug testing may be requirements per client
    • Visa: Contractors have their own TN visa, if working on US based projects
