US Software Solutions is looking for a Payroll Specialist will support the payroll team with day-to-day data entry, timesheet tracking, and payroll preparation for US-based employees and contractors. Working under the guidance of a senior colleague, you will be trained on our internal systems and workflows. This is an entry-level role ideal for detail-oriented, motivated individuals looking to build a career in payroll and finance.
Work schedule:
Monday - Friday from 15:00 till 23:00
- Input employee hours, payroll data, and financial notes into spreadsheets and internal systems (Excel, Smartsheet).
- Collect, verify, and organize timesheet data from field employees prior to payroll runs.
- Assist senior staff in preparing payroll calculations for W-2 employees and 1099 contractors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, employee files, and financial documentation.
- Coordinate with supervisors and field staff to resolve discrepancies in hours or payroll data.
- Actively participate in training sessions and take on additional tasks as skills grow.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (recommended not a must).
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting preferred (recommended not a must).
- Experience with accounting software and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Precise attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with colleagues in team focused environment.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills. (B2)
