    • FTE: 0.8
    • Pay Range: $40.30-$60.45/hour

    80% FTE, 8-hour day/evening shifts, Monday – Friday, weekday and weekend call responsibilities. Holiday triage and call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

    We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

    • Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner.

    • Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.

    • Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patient’s level of complexity.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

    Work Experience
    • 6 months of relevant clinical experience Required

    • Clinical operating room experience Preferred

    Licenses & Certifications
    • Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required

    • CPR certification Upon Hire Required

    • ACLS certification Preferred

    • PALS certification Preferred
