Lead Pool Technician

Do you enjoy working outdoors, solving maintenance problems, and taking pride in keeping a resort looking its best? We’re looking for a Pool Technician to help keep our pools, spas, and water features clean, safe, and fully operational for our guests.

As a Pool Technician, you’ll play an important role in maintaining our resort’s pool facilities, ensuring proper water chemistry, caring for pool equipment, and helping create a clean and enjoyable guest experience.

Location: 2975 Arabian Nights Blvd, Kissimmee, FL 34747

Pay rate: $20/hr

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain and inspect resort pools, spas, and water features on a daily basis.

• Test and balance pool water chemistry, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness.

• Operate and maintain pumps, filters, heaters, chemical systems, and other pool equipment.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed.

• Maintain accurate water testing, chemical usage, and maintenance records.

• Monitor pool areas for cleanliness, safety, and proper operating conditions.

• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, and safety concerns.

• Assist with pool openings, closures, seasonal maintenance, and inspections.

• Respond professionally to pool-related guest questions and concerns.

• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable health and safety regulations.

• Work closely with Maintenance, Housekeeping, Front Office, and other Resort Operations teams.

• Help ensure our pools and surrounding areas consistently meet resort standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification – required.

• Previous pool maintenance or pool technician experience preferred.

• Knowledge of pool equipment, systems, and water chemistry.

• Familiarity with pool safety standards and health department requirements.

• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
