The Receptionist supports the Conference Services team at Keystone in their operations covering over 100,00 sq ft of meeting/event space. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in guest service, a background in administrative support, and a desire to learn more about conference and event support.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide front office support/guest service assistance as directed by Office Manager.
- Become familiar with group’s activities and work closely with Banquets, Set-ups and Audio Visual Departments.
- Create, distribute and maintain weeklies, dailies, and guest event reports.
- Become familiar with group agendas, restaurant, and banquet food and beverage menus.
- Provide superior guest service and assistance. Become familiar and knowledgeable of Resort departments.
- Check voicemail & e-mail as directed by service managers. Respond to all you can help with.
- Answer phones and deal with client questions.
- Accurately charge and post business center fees.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to type 50 words per minute.
- Previous guest service and administrative experience preferred.
- Previous resort experience a plus.
- Ability to pay attention to detail a must.
- Word processing/data entry experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Flexible work schedule.
- Courteous and professional telephone and guest service skills.
- Good listening abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
