Mechanic - FT/YR, CME - Edwards, CO

Colorado Mountain Express is the premier transportation operator in the state of Colorado, providing professional and reliable transportation service to mountain resort locations of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Aspen and Snowmass.  CME's service offerings include Door-to-Door and Point-to-Point airport transportation service from Denver International Airport (DEN), Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) and Aspen Pitkin County Airport (ASE),  CME has one of the largest fleets in Colorado - 200, 15-passenger shared ride shuttle vans, 50 luxury SUVs and 12 beautiful 11-passenger Mercedes Benz Sprinter vehicles.

Job Description: Entry-Level Mechanic

• Maintain high quality vehicles with proper preventative maintenance in a fast paced environment.
• Diagnose and repair the problems to all company fleet vehicles.  Includes, but is not limited to: basic maintenance, electrical systems, tune ups, brakes and tires.
• Replacement of windshields in accordance with AGRSS standards.
• Understand, communicate, and adhere to all regulations related to: OSHA, MSDS, HAZMAT, shop safety, and CDL requirements.
• Communicate with department heads and employees regarding equipment problems and repairs.
• Maintain shop safety standards and shop productivity level.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education:

• High School Diploma required; Trade School Graduate preferred   

Work Experience:

• Some previous mechanical experience

Supervisory Experience:

• N/A

Licenses/Accreditations:

• Valid DL, some A.S.E certifications

Computer Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge

Language(s) Skill:

• Able to communicate effectively

Other Requirements:

• Basic maintenance experience, including electrical and diagnostic repair.
