PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE
Perform maintenance work on winter and summer trails.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks on ski trails:
- General trail maintenance; tree and brush removal, installing fences, snow maintenance and removal, removal of rocks and other obstructions.
- Operate a variety of tools, equipment and vehicles in the course of performing duties such as chain saw, snowmobile.
- Assist with other on-hill maintenance duties as assigned.
- Maintain tools and equipment used in trails maintenance.
- Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) by following the Resort Etiquette Guidelines.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
Direct supervision is received from Trails Supervisor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Exposure to inclement weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School education desirable.
- Good skiing ability.
- Experience working with chainsaw and in operating snowmobile preferred.
