The role
As a Product Manager at Vale, you will own product areas that span our consumer-facing digital experience, machine platform, or internal tooling, driving discovery, delivery, and measurable impact.
- Define and maintain a clear product roadmap grounded in customer insights and business goals
- Work closely with Engineering and Design to take features from discovery through delivery
- Write clear, prioritized product requirements and acceptance criteria
- Own product metrics and use data to continuously improve the product experience
- Conduct customer interviews, usability research, and competitive analysis
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Sales on go-to-market planning
- Communicate product plans and progress clearly across all levels of the organization
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 4+ years of product management experience in a consumer or B2B software environment
- Track record of shipping impactful products in a fast-moving startup or growth-stage company
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with product analytics tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and business stakeholders
- Experience with hardware-software products or IoT a plus
Compensation
$130,000 – $200,000 per year + options
