About the Role

The Summit Grill at Best Western Plus Valemount is looking for a Cook who is passionate about food, enjoys working as part of a team, and takes pride in creating quality meals for guests.

Whether you have previous kitchen experience or are eager to develop your culinary skills, we are looking for individuals who bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, creativity, and a willingness to learn. We value team members who are open to new ideas and committed to delivering excellent hospitality.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
• Assist with food preparation for daily service
• Maintain proper food handling and food safety standards
• Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service as required
• Assist with inventory organization and stock rotation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Assist with dishwashing when required
• Support sanitation and cleaning procedures throughout the kitchen
• Assist with kitchen organization and storage areas
• Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen and restaurant team members
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, menu offerings, and guest satisfaction
