Part of Vantiva Product Security Team and reporting to Product Security Director, Platform Security Manager is responsible for managing Platform Security Engineering Team (PSE) and ensure PSE duties are executed consistently with business objectives. In relation to the Product Security management team, he/she contributes to Product Security strategy and execution roadmap. He/she ensures that PSE deliverables are issued on time with products development schedules. He/she is responsible for maintaining and improving PSE specific tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Define, track and review PSE members individual technical and behavior objectives.
• Assign Product support to PSE members.
• Assess and ensure demand vs team capacity.
• Ensure backup and redundancy of knowledge within PSE.
• Animate regular team meetings.
• Define, document and maintain PSE specific procedures:
  • SoC generic security configuration,
  • Bootloader review,
  • Factory key handling,
  • Code signing.
• Ensure consistency of ways of working within PSE.
• Act as PSE when needed.
• Animate transversal meetings on Manufacturing activities related to security.
• Monitor technological developments in embedded security (inc. standards and regulations).
• Develop, document and maintain code-signing infrastructure.
• Review and propose improvements to existing Product Security policies and processes.
• Ensure ISO9K/27K conformity.

Profile

Education: Master’s degree in Engineering

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in industry
• 3+ years of 5-10 people team management

Expertise

• Hardware security technologies
• Embedded application and system development
• Secure software development lifecycle and/or agile methods
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, and negotiation skills

Technical skills 

• Linux kernel, embedded Linux systems
• Android AOSP system
• C/C++ and embedded Java development
• Scripting languages
• Applied cryptography
• Security and ethical hacking

Soft skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time and workload
• Customer oriented mindset
• Fluency in English
