Your role at Vantive
You are a problem solver. Complex projects or unexpected challenges are just opportunities to bring your considerable abilities to use. Whether working independently or with a trusted team, you are always ready to tackle a project and work hard to find solutions.
Your talent is needed across a wide variety of industries. As a Sr. Principal Packaging Engineer, you have a wide array of career choices but are motivated by the opportunity to work in a company that supports innovation, professional development, and a purposeful mission.
The packaging engineering team works in conjunction with various groups to bridge the gap between product, production, and the customer needs. You will interact with a variety of Vantive products, collaborate with cross-functional teams around the world, and travel to various manufacturing locations to develop packaging solutions and ensure production of these lifesaving products.
Your role will consist of performing sustaining engineering activities on current product packaging and packaging processes with priorities based on quality and compliance, continuity of supply, and cost savings initiatives.
In addition, you will provide package design, development and verification testing activities for new products and assist the manufacturing plants in the qualification of any new packaging processes. Due to the breadth of Vantive’s product portfolio, this results in exciting opportunities to be exposed to several types of packaging materials and processes including flexible and rigid films, HDPE and foil pouches, corrugated design and protective packaging, thermoforming, flow-wrap, form/fill/seal, printing technologies and other related packaging processes.
Measurement of success is determined through executing and implementing projects with speed and quality, identifying packaging cost savings targets, meeting key program milestones, and solving technical issues.
We are a team of inquisitive individuals who embrace a collaborative environment to take on sophisticated challenges that meet the needs of our patients. We often need to change directions and respond to issues to avoid disruptions in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. Together, we build and maintain a positive work environment.
Our focus is dedicated to quality. Delivering life-saving products is about getting them right, and our technical expertise and experience working in a manufacturing environment empower us to meet that challenge.
When you join us, you will work with a team of committed individuals who trust each other to deliver on the tasks at hand. We support innovation and out-of-the-box thinking balanced with collaboration across functions and other teams. Our leadership understands the need for continuous education and provides opportunities for further development.
As a Sr. Principal Packaging Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead by example and enjoy mentoring and learning from others. Here, you are trusted to manage your own time and are given opportunities to grow your career as you wish.
At Vantive, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices and to creating an environment where people feel valued and supported. We know that compensation matters when considering a new role.
The minimum annual base salary for this position is €47,200. Your starting salary may be higher, depending on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and the unique perspective you would bring to the role.
We carefully consider each candidate individually while also ensuring fairness and consistency across our organization.
In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for a competitive (bonus and) benefits package designed to support your well-being, professional growth, and life beyond work.
If you decide to apply, we encourage you to speak with our Talent Acquisition Team, who will be happy to discuss compensation, benefits, and what it’s like to be part of Vantive.
