Overview
Vayan Group is seeking an experienced Site Leader to oversee day-to-day operations at one of our automotive manufacturing locations. This position ensures all quality, containment, and inspection processes meet customer standards while leading a strong on-site team.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary coordinator and quality lead for inspection projects across multiple customer sites managing multiple shifts.
- Perform detailed dimensional inspections using precision tools such as calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, and height gages.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to verify product conformity.
- Train and guide inspection teams in Standardized Work Instructions and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure proper material flow, handling of nonconforming product, and adherence to scrap/rework protocols.
- Conduct and document Layered Process Audits (LPAs) and process validations at customer sites.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and customer quality teams to resolve quality issues.
- Serve as a customer-facing representative for Vayan Group, maintaining professionalism and accountability while on-site.
- Support compliance to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific quality systems across all projects.
Requirements
- 2-3 years in manufacturing with a quality-focused background (PPAP, FMEA, PSA, SPC).
- Proven success leading multiple shifts and a team of 6+ direct reports. Flexible schedule covering multiple shifts (non-consecutive off days).
- Demonstrated ability in training, coaching, and developing talent.
- Strong understanding of KPIs, performance metrics, and business acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective communication across teams.
- Comfortable working in a factory, warehouse, or lab setting with adherence to safety and quality standards.
Education
- Some college or Industrial Engineering coursework preferred.
- QMS, ISO, or AS9102 certification a plus.
