ROLE: Senior Developer, Data Engineering
REPORTS TO: Manager, Digital Analytics
LOCATION: Hybrid / Corporate Office in Richmond Hill, Ontario
SALARY: $120k-$130k, up to 10% discretionary incentive target*
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing data storage, and ensuring data quality. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Venterra is currently pursuing a data stack modernization effort to migrate our SQL Server reporting database to a cloud-native ELT stack built on AWS, Python, Airflow, DBT and Snowflake.
