Venture Forthe is one of WNY's largest and fastest growing Licensed Home Care agencies. Our team is growing, and we're looking to bring on an RN Trainer to instruct our Personal Care Aide Training classes in Hornell with travel to our Corning office.

This position supports Venture Forthe's Person Care Aide Training Program, which allow us to certify and hire Personal Care Aides (PCAs) in this region allowing more individuals to remain in their homes and be part of their community.

What You'll Do:

• Teach the NYS PCA certification classes in Hornell and Corning.
• Assist in developing, updating and maintaining training material and curriculum for PCAs as needed.
• Assist in the agency’s continuing education/in-service program and field competency testing of all clinical staff.
• Conduct field competency testing for clinical staff in accordance with NYS Department of Health regulations
• Potentially oversee, coordinate, and directly supervise paraprofessional staff and private duty/shift nursing services
• Provide individualized remediation and tutoring support to trainees who require additional assistance
• Conduct ongoing progress checks throughout training to identify learning gaps early
• This position's primary responsibility is to teach and train PCA. When there is no classes the trainer will support the Venture Forthe Field Nursing Team.
• Travel required
• Occasional on-call hours required
