    Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

    We are seeking qualified applicants for the position:

    Advisor II, CSU

    Summary

    The CSU IC Advisor will report directly to the CSU IC Director or Designee. They promote and provide leadership for Safety and direct/coordinate daily activities of the instrument Technicians, and construction support craft. They assume the direct responsibility of assigned instrumentation and systems for completion with the highest degree of safety and quality. They mentor and provide positive feedback to employees. They assist with the coordination of client personnel for OJT and Maintenance training.

    General Description Duties & Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

    • Hold and/or attend Daily Safety Meetings
    • Attend or conduct Daily Leads Meeting
    • Lead and require strict adherence to Lock Out / Tag Out Procedures (LOTO), work permits, and company policies
    • Review and spot check Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) audits for department
    • Utilize scope packages and necessary forms for completed turnover packages
    • Utilize work packages associated with system testing
    • Utilize test procedures for component and system testing
    • Redline all drawings and specification data sheets to ensure accurate “As-Built” information and drawings
    • Promote and require good housekeeping in the office and on the project site
    • Review and update min/max and available spare parts and consumables for commissioning
    • Troubleshoot and isolate system problems and propose solutions to CSU IC Field Specialist
    • Checkout installed systems and equipment adhering to OEM requirements, system descriptions, and good industry standard practice
    • Track the progress of assigned systems and provide CSU IC Field Specialist with timely reports on progress and activities
    • Perform construction process assessments during system pre-Mechanical Complete (MC) walk-downs and identify exceptions, and deficiencies
    • Directs commissioning and testing of individual components, systems, and the station as a complete integrated unit to meet all contractual obligations

    Basic Qualifications:  Level 3

    Associate degree in electronics or Instrumentation from a University or Technical School, and/or job-related experience and minimum of 2-3 years’ experience Must have the ability to read and understand P&ID’s, Loop Drawings, Cause & Effect’s, Electrical One-Lines, and Schematics Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI), MS Office Suite Must have recent knowledge of (PLC, DCS, SIS, etc.) and Field Instrumentation Experience with electrical, instrumentation and control systems codes and standards, including ISA, NEC, and API is required

    Basic Qualifications:  Level 2

    Associate degree in electronics or Instrumentation from a University or Technical School, and/or job-related experience and minimum of 5 years’ experience Must have the ability to read and understand P&ID’s, Loop Drawings, Cause & Effect’s, Electrical One-Lines, and Schematics Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI), MS Office Suite Must have recent knowledge of (PLC, DCS, SIS, etc.) and Field Instrumentation Experience with electrical, instrumentation and control systems codes and standards, including ISA, NEC, and API is required

    Basic Qualifications: Level 1

    Associate degree in electronics or Instrumentation from a University or Technical School, and/or job-related experience and minimum of 7-9 years’ experience Must have the ability to read and understand P&ID’s, Loop Drawings, Cause & Effect’s, Electrical One-Lines, and Schematics Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI), MS Office Suite Must have recent knowledge of (PLC, DCS, SIS, etc.) and Field Instrumentation Experience with electrical, instrumentation and control systems codes and standards, including ISA, NEC, and API is required Experience as an Instrument Supervisor on at least (1) mid to large size project during the construction, commissioning, and initial start-up phases of a project is preferred
