Key Responsibilities:
Install, commission, start-up, operation & maintain water treatment equipment at customer sites
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on treatment systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues
Conduct water quality testing and system performance optimization
Provide technical training to customers on system operation
Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
Manage parts inventory and coordinate with procurement team
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service requests
Implement and promote Veolia EHS and Ethics policies. Manage contracts and assignments in compliance with applicable regulations and encourage good employee safety practices.
To work closely with the Customer Service team for billing / invoicing on delivered job / PO.
Would be able to work independently for ad hoc support or mobile projects across Malaysia.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of water treatment processes (filtration, RO, softening, disinfection)
Mechanical skills: pumps, valves, piping systems
Basic electrical troubleshooting and motor controls
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
PLC/SCADA programming and troubleshooting experience
Instrumentation calibration experience
Understanding of safety protocols (OSHA, confined space, LOTO, LSR)
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Self-motivated with ability to work independently
Proficient with computers and mobile documentation tools
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in harsh environment, working, at heights, and in various weather conditions
Associate degree or technical certification in related field, OR
At least 3 years hands-on experience with water treatment systems
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
