    Job description

The position is structured around two major pillars:

1️⃣ KOBE Mission - Coordination & Continuous Improvement (30 to 50% of time)

    Inter-team Coordination and Facilitation:

Workshops: Organize, structure and facilitate cross-functional working sessions to address inter-team topics affecting multiple projects simultaneously, while ensuring alignment across departments.

Targeted Support (Boost): Intervene on-site with German operational teams to provide logistical or methodological momentum in case of slowdowns.

    Governance, Monitoring and Reporting:

Steering Committees (Steercos): Prepare monthly governance meetings with sponsors. Consolidate progress and blockers from the 5 projects, and prepare arbitration scenarios to facilitate decision-making.

Visual Management: Create and maintain tailored dashboards (visual alert system using weather/traffic light format) to provide management with an instant view of program health against the commissioning schedule.

Transition to Operations (Business as Usual):

Ensure transfer of ownership of communication channels to German operators, enabling them to request expert support autonomously after project completion.

    2️⃣ KOBE Project - Contractual After-Sales (50 to 70% of time)

As Technical Assistant to Florian Wiedenmann, you act as project representative during the critical handover phase to operations:

Operational Interface: Serve as central point of contact to request, coordinate and obtain technical and logistical support from German operational teams on-site.

Correction Project Management: Organize and lead corrective work projects on the new incineration line to achieve expected performance standards.

Contractual Management and Dispute Resolution: Closely monitor contractual responsibilities and manage potential disputes with suppliers and subcontractors.

Handover and Documentation: Ensure completion of technical documentation and coordinate the official handover of the new incineration line to operations teams.

    Education & Experience:

Recent graduate (Junior Profile / eligible for VIE) from an engineering school, with specialization or initial experience in Project Management / PMO.

    Hard Skills:

Tools & Data: Strong proficiency in office software, reporting tools and KPI creation (data consolidation, visual management).

Languages: Fluent English is essential. German language skills are a major asset for interacting with local teams.

    Soft Skills:

Diplomacy & Empathy: Excellent interpersonal communication. Ability to navigate a multi-departmental environment, align divergent visions and defuse frustrations.

Executive Communication: Sharp synthesis skills. Ability to structure complex information to facilitate sponsor decision-making ("Here's the problem, here are the options, what's your decision?").

Organization & Leadership: Ability to structure agendas, facilitate meetings and unite multiple PMOs from different departments.

Professionalism: Autonomy to operate on an active construction site, networking mindset and pragmatism (ability to escalate alerts tactfully without overstepping technical expertise).

The organization is structured around the Industrial and Innovation Department (DII), inter-site experts, and local operational teams. Acting as the true cornerstone of the program, the Global PMO ensures coordination and monitoring in direct support to management, while serving as a liaison with the PMOs of each sub-team.
