    Job description

    The Marketing team is seeking a Temporary Marketing Coordinator to join the team for a parental leave coverage position from November 2026 through March 2027.

    This position is a critical member of the MS NOW Marketing team, supporting both Brand Marketing and direct-to-consumer (DTC) Marketing during a parental-leave coverage period. The Coordinator will help keep priority campaigns, creative-development work, project plans, and team communications moving across a high volume of concurrent work.

    This role will work closely with the DTC team, Brand Marketing, Creative, Production, Product, Media, Social, PR, Programming, and other cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving news and subscription environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the planning and execution of Brand and DTC marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.
    • Maintain integrated marketing calendars, project trackers, status reports, and deliverable lists across Brand and DTC workstreams.
    • Coordinate creative briefs, asset requests, reviews, approvals, and delivery with internal Creative, Production, Media, and external partners.
    • Maintain an organized, current library of campaign assets, brand materials, talent photography, and working files; coordinate distribution as needed.
    • Track active projects, deadlines, dependencies, and open decisions; follow up with stakeholders to keep work on schedule.
    • Support DTC campaign and lifecycle-marketing execution by organizing assets, coordinating inputs, and maintaining campaign documentation.
    • Assist with meeting agendas, notes, recaps, presentations, and decision materials for Marketing leadership and cross-functional teams.
    • Help monitor campaign activity and compile performance inputs, results, and key takeaways for routine reporting.
    • Stay current on MS NOW content, programming priorities, audience conversation, and news developments; identify timely opportunities to support marketing work.
    • Assist with organizing department meetings, planning sessions, and team activities.

    Requirements

    • 2+ years of professional experience in marketing coordination, project coordination, content marketing, agency account management, or a related role; relevant internships may be considered.
    • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple requests and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
    • Experience coordinating creative development, asset management, or marketing campaign execution.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Comfortable building and maintaining trackers, presentations, calendars, and working documents.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project-management and asset-management tools is a plus.
    • A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and willingness to take on work at every level of detail.
    • Interest in news, media, digital content, and consumer behavior.

    • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the NYC office a minimum of three days per week.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $24.04/hour to $28.85/hour
