Position Summary
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.

- Develops and maintains positive customer relationships.
- Acts as the primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer(s) to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance.
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions – such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications in a timely manner.
- Communicates program objectives, schedule, status and risk with Management.
- Expedite part deliveries internally and externally as required.
- Coordinate customer visits and program reviews.
- Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.
- Active member of the Safety Committee & Emergency Response Team.
- Other various duties as needed or as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5+ years progressive experience in Program Management in manufacturing, aerospace manufacturing and Contracts experience is a plus.

Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess basic computer proficiency and functional knowledge with applications and activities including (but not limited to):
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and write the English language.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Other Skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
