Role Overview
The Material Handler supports warehouse operations by mixing, packaging, receiving, storing, and shipping products in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate order fulfillment, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting the safe handling of materials, including hazardous materials and waste when applicable.
Key responsibilities
include: Perform manual warehouse duties, including picking, packing, staging, and inventory movement Load and unload company trucks, common carriers, and customer vehicles using forklifts and other equipment Ship and receive products according to company procedures, documentation requirements, and safety guidelines Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Mix and package products accurately, ensuring correct weights, quantities, and labeling Support inventory accuracy through proper storage, handling, and documentation Handle hazardous materials or waste safely and place materials into appropriate containers as required Complete inspections and required paperwork related to hazardous waste receiving, storage, and shipping (as applicable) Participate in emergency response activities (in-plant or off-site) as assigned Follow all company policies, quality processes, and regulatory requirements
