Tanneberger Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team in St. Albans City, Vermont. What You’ll Do
- Support veterinarians and the clinical team in providing compassionate patient care
- Assist with examinations, treatments, and day-to-day clinical procedures
- Help safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
- Prepare exam and treatment areas for appointments and procedures
- Assist with patient care before, during, and after treatments
- Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical areas
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
- Follow hospital protocols and established standards of patient care
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians and fellow support team members
- Contribute to an efficient, positive, and supportive hospital environment
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
