Since 1973, Vida Shoes International has been committed to becoming a global leader in the footwear industry. We are a well-established private footwear company located in New York, boasting a global presence abroad. Currently, we are in search of an Account Executive specializing in handbags.

Job Title: Account Executive, Handbags

Compensation: $80K–$140K

Requirements:

• Drive sales with active accounts and open new accounts.
• Develop and implement sales strategies in order to grow revenue and gross margin.
• Achieve revenue and margin plan.
• Identify opportunities and execute a plan to achieve these opportunities
• Partner with design team, shipping team, and production team. 
• Travel to accounts and trade shows.
• Foster lasting relationships with customers by building trust.
• Complete weekly Monday recap due to GM recapping current business
• Shop your accounts and their competition to stay knowledgeable and current on business.

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of selling branded handbags.
• Proven track record to surpass sales targets.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Attention to detail and consistent follow through.
• Highly self-motivated, willing to take initiative but also follow direction.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player attitude.
• Proficient in Excel, with a strong working knowledge of Pivot tables, and PowerPoint.
• Wholesale/ Handbags background.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
