    Job Title: Accounts Receivable Associate     

    Job Code: FIT020/Accounting Technician 1

    Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week on average)

    Job Hours: Day: 40 hours - Monday through Friday; 8:00am 5:00pm

    Base Location: Headquarters – Lawrenceville, GA.

    Division/Department/Program: Business Services

    Under supervision, performs routine Accounts Receivable accounting functions, including but not limited preparation for creating and sending customer invoices; and maintaining related Excel summaries and supporting documentation. Apply customer payments, research/resolve customer issues, and provide internal and external customer support

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Prepare, verify, and process invoices
    • Posting payments timely and accurate to accounts
    • Monitor and collect accounts receivables
    • Deposit payment to bank account
    • Generate various accounts receivable/cash flow reports
    • Assist with the month-end closing process
    • Assist with developing and implementing improvements to the accounts receivable process
    • Assist with audit related to accounts receivable

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Associate's degree in a business curriculum or related field from an accredited college or university OR high school diploma or GED AND two years of experience performing accounting and/or fiscal control functions.

    Preferred Qualifications:  

    • Minimum 2 years Accounts Receivable experience
    • Experience with ERP systems for example Sage, Oracle, SAP, or other accounting systems.
    • Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to communicate with various levels of management and staff.
    • Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills and ability to multi-task.

    Requirements/Competencies:

    • Must be able to stand from a kneeling or sitting position without using your hands (Certification Requirement).
    • Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, move about, hear and speak.
    • Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
    • Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
    • Must have valid Georgia driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.
    • Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting)
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.
    • Any combination of training and experience would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.  

    Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
