Maintenance Technician I

Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives.  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• An AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and related environmental control systems.
• The employee must hold a heating and / or air conditioning license based on the State requirements, as directed by the Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, and Fire Sprinkler Contractors.
