Join us and become part of a pioneering team dedicated to shaping the future of digital transformation in Pharma and Life Sciences across more than 50 countries around the globe.
Role description: As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth across the assigned APAC territory by owning the full sales cycle - from identifying and acquiring new customers to developing, expanding and scaling existing accounts. While acting as a strategic partner, you will build long-term client relationships, deliver tailored solutions from Viseven's portfolio, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and sustainable revenue growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build trusted relationships with customer decision-makers and stakeholders across regions.
    • Act as a strategic partner, providing expert advice on Viseven's full portfolio and recommending solutions that address customer needs.
    • Develop and execute mid- and long-term account strategies, including growth, upselling and expansion opportunities.
    • Manage account profitability, annual and quarterly budget planning, and financial performance.
    • Oversee initiatives and projects across the portfolio, ensuring activities remain on track and stakeholders stay aligned.
    • Coordinate communication between customers, regional teams and internal Viseven functions.
    • Monitor solution and service adoption, proactively address blockers and drive continuous improvement.
    • Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular engagement, timely issue resolution and effective expectation management.
    • Lead customer meetings, present Viseven solutions and translate high-level requirements into actionable plans.
    • Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to identify new opportunities and ensure successful onboarding and execution.
    • Proactively grow the network within the region for existing and new accounts to ensure Viseven visibility within identified organizations.
    • Hands-on coordination, management and execution of digital projects and solutions for the client, with background support from the technical team.
    • Sustain existing and develop new opportunities within accounts, including expansion into new divisions and clusters, to increase Viseven revenue.
    • Devise a scalable onboarding process for strategic accounts, communicating with decision-makers and stakeholders on the customer side.
    • Conduct sales research and identify new sales opportunities.
    • Create and implement workflow and process improvements to enhance current operational processes.
    • Document processes and maintain sales department records.
    • Own the full sales cycle within the assigned territory: proactively hunt and qualify new business opportunities, and lead them through to closing, alongside developing and growing existing accounts.

    Required Skills & Experience:

      Location: APAC region, Japan preferred
Languages: native/fluent in Japanese and English
    • 5+ years of experience in Account Management / Customer Success / Sales in a B2B environment (SaaS, MarTech or enterprise software preferred).
    • Proven experience managing enterprise client portfolios with account budget planning and P&L management.
    • Strong client engagement skills with the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels.
    • Project and account management capabilities, with a focus on driving outcomes and coordinating across multiple teams.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
    • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and digital transformation trends is a plus.
    • Experience working with the Japanese market is required.
    • Comfort with data and KPIs, with the ability to analyze trends and identify areas for improvement.
    • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent) and forecasting tools.

    • Adaptable and comfortable navigating change.
    • Strong listener who communicates clearly and with empathy.
    • Team player who collaborates across functions.
    • Confident in giving and receiving feedback.
    • Able to handle complexity, resolve conflicts, and keep things moving forward.
