Receptionist – Maternity Cover (5 -Month Contract)

Vision Elevators is looking for a professional, organised and friendly Receptionist to join our Cape Town branch on a 5 -month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers and will provide essential administrative support to the branch, technicians and office staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Professionally manage the reception area and company telephone.

• Welcome visitors and assist with general enquiries.

• Receive and manage deliveries and arrange collections when required.

• Order and maintain office supplies.

• Assist technicians and office staff with printing, copying, binding and general document preparation.

• Update and maintain the employee leave calendar daily.

• Assist with the preparation and administration of Annexure 1 Applications and Construction Handover files.

• Follow up on Department of Labour registrations and related documentation.

• Assist the HR department with administrative tasks and employee calls as required.

• Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12.

• Previous experience in a reception, administrative or office support role.

• Strong telephone and communication skills.

• Professional, friendly and well-presented.

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

• Ability to multitask and work in a busy office environment.

• Good attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately.

• Proficient in G-Suite

• Ability to work independently while supporting a wider team.

Contract Details

This position is a fixed-term maternity cover contract for approximately four months and is based at our Cape Town branch.
