ABOUT THE POSITION

Position Title: Senior Branch Member Account Specialist

Position Overview: As a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist (Sr. BMAS), you'll serve as a trusted resource for members as they open and manage accounts, explore lending solutions, and navigate important financial decisions. More than a transactional role, you'll build meaningful relationships, provide personalized guidance, and help members identify solutions that support their financial goals.

Working alongside an experienced and collaborative team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on members every day while developing broad knowledge across banking products and services.

Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week). Regular shifts include Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM - 12:30PM.

Compensation Range: $21.00/hr. - $23.00/hr. *Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills*

Location: Position is on-site at our JC Pavilion Branch located at 100 Pavilion Rd (Near Wal-Mart), Johnson City, NY. Position will provide coverage to our MetroCenter Branch which is located 449 Court St, Binghamton, NY.

What You’ll Do:

Create positive member experiences through friendly, professional, and personalized service
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently
Build relationships with members by understanding their needs and connecting them with appropriate products, services, and resources
Answer questions, resolve concerns, and ensure members feel confident in their financial decisions
Collaborate with branch teammates to deliver exceptional service and support branch goals
Maintain operational accuracy, compliance, and security standards in all transactions and interactions

You build strong relationships through genuine conversations and exceptional service
Transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
You actively learn and grow your knowledge of financial products, services, and member solutions

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum qualifications:

High school diploma with 1-3 years of related experience.
Obtain notary license within 1 year of acceptance of role.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.

Preferred qualifications:

Associate degree preferred.
Two to four years’ experience in customer service, retail, banking or financial services industry.
