Elementary Principal Job DescriptionThe Allegheny East Conference is seeking a dynamic, creative, energetic educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with peers, family, and other stakeholders for the eternal success of our scholars. This position requires an educator who is willing to engage scholars to grow and explore the world around them.
The employee must acknowledge and accept the principles, beliefs and practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, be a welcoming professional and provide a variety of clerical duties and related tasks.
Requirements· Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
· Advanced degree/certification in Educational Administration and Leadership
· Eligible for denominational teacher/Administrative certificate
· Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
· Verified Volunteers clearance
Qualifications· At least 3 years as Principal or Assistant Principal at the PreK-8 Level
· Minimum 5 years teaching experience working with a diverse population
