School Mini Bus Driver

Position

If the sound of children laughing, singing, and playing is music to your ears, we are interested in talking with you. We have an immediate opening for a School Bus Driver with a valid license. The successful candidate will have experience driving a bus as well as working with children, and one who has transported grade school-aged kids to school in the past. Requirements

• Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons on planned route

• Verify permissions for children who ride home with friends and Ensure safety of all students

• Always maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus

• Obey all traffic laws

• Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children on the bus

• Assist students with getting on and off the bus when required
• Attend safety meetings when required

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
•High School diploma or equivalent

• Knowledge of the roads and routes that will be driven 

• Understanding of the highway code and traffic regulations

• Great customer service skills

• Must obtain clearance through required background checks and child protection training
