Vista Aircraft Maintenance

Vista Aircraft Maintenance provides both line and base maintenance for the fleet. The team ensures aircraft safety, reliability, and availability through rigorous standards, proactive maintenance, and a global network of facilities.

Working across different specialties, VAM prepares aircraft for every flight with a focus on precision, quality, and compliance. By maintaining the highest standards in both safety and attention to detail, the team plays a critical role in ensuring consistent fleet performance and a seamless client experience.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our Baden Baden team on a permamnent basis, working Monday-Friday. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for performing structural repairs and modifications on aircraft components made from metal and composite materials, in accordance with approved maintenance documentation. Working closely with our technical planners, you will contribute to the development of repair proposals and apply your expertise in aircraft sheet metal work, fasteners, and fabrication techniques. 

• You are responsible for carrying out repairs and modifications to aircraft, structural parts and components made of metal and composite materials in accordance with applicable maintenance documents / repair instructions
• Together with our technical planners, you create repair proposals based on manufacturer instructions and technical publications.
• You are confident in handling aircraft sheet metal, semi-finished products and common fasteners.
• You are curious and willing to learn new procedures and working methods and to develop yourself further.
• You support our team of technicians as required with other work that arises in the context of aircraft maintenance.

• Ideally, you have completed training as an aircraft mechanic with good practical skills or alternatively as a construction mechanic, sheet metal worker or metal technician and have several years of professional experience in your field
• You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
• You are physically resilient, work independently, carefully and reliably, are flexible and a good team player
• You have a valid class B driving license
