Key Responsibilities
- Behavioral Care & Safety: Implement specialized support plans using targeted training to effectively manage verbal or physical aggression while maintaining strict professional boundaries.
- Daily Support & Advocacy: Assist residents with activities of daily living—including hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation—while protecting their individual rights and treating them with absolute dignity.
- Shift Dependability: Maintain a clean, comfortable, homelike environment and remain on duty at program locations until relief staff arrives to ensure resident safety.
Qualifications
- Age & Education: Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Skills & Resilience: Comfort working under stressful conditions, managing physical crisis situations, and communicating effectively in English to complete daily logs.
- Background Checks: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred).
