What You'll Do
Turn Plans Into Action
- Review purchasing requirements and create accurate purchase orders that support production and operational needs.
- Manage order changes, revisions, and cancellations while maintaining accurate ERP records.
Stay Ahead of Supply Risks
- Monitor open orders and delivery commitments to identify potential delays before they impact operations.
- Prioritize expediting efforts on the orders that matter most.
Keep Teams Informed
- Build productive relationships with suppliers and gather timely updates on orders, availability, and delivery commitments.
- Share important information with stakeholders so decisions can be made quickly and confidently.
Protect Data Accuracy
- Maintain complete and accurate procurement records within the ERP system.
- Resolve discrepancies before they affect inventory, receiving, invoicing, or reporting.
What You'll Bring
- Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or related experience.
- Experience creating and managing purchase orders in an ERP environment, preferably Microsoft D365.
- Experience within food manufacturing, dairy processing, or another regulated industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay composed when priorities shift.
- SCMP designation, or progress toward a professional procurement designation, is an asset.
