    Job description

    Come join our awesome team as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Anoka Rehabilitation & Living Center. 

    Anoka Rehabilitation & Living Center is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

    Compensation: $22.12-$23.18hr (Benefit Options and based on years of experience)- Pay in Lieu Option available

    Open Shifts:

    6:30 AM-2:30 PM (Every other weekend) 37.5 and 60 hours per pay period
    2:30 PM-11:30 PM (Every other weekend) 30 and 52.5 hours per pay period
    10:30PM- 6:30PM (Every other weekend) 67.5 hours per pay period

    About the job:

    The Nursing Assistant is the heart of the clinical team, providing direct care and activities of daily living for our residents that they cannot do for themselves. You will be rewarded with smiles and gratitude from the residents you provide care to!

    Essentials:

    • Assist residents with activities of daily living.
    • Reports promptly to the nurse any changes in the resident condition.
    • Immediately reports any suspected abuse or neglect per facility policy.
    • Accurately utilizes electronic systems of documentation as required per facility policy.
    • Attends/Completes educational offerings, and obtains at least twelve (12) hours of continuing education a year per state regulations.

    Required Qualifications: 

    • Be a Certified, Registered or a State Tested Nursing Assistant
    • Must be eighteen (18) years old or older at start date of employment.
    • Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job without harm to self or others.
    • Ability to understand and follow work assignments.
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
    • Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in the long-term care setting.
    • CPR Certification
