Pay Range: $90,000/yr + 10% cash bonus

We are looking for a hands-on Injection Well Supervisor to lead the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of JED Landfill's injection well and leachate management systems. This role is responsible for overseeing daily well operations, environmental compliance, regulatory reporting, equipment reliability, and the development of a team of four operators. The Role (What You'll Do)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of four operators responsible for injection well and leachate management operations
- Oversee daily operation of injection wells, pumps, force mains, storage tanks, and associated infrastructure
- Monitor injection volumes, pressures, flow rates, and well performance to ensure permit compliance
- Maintain accurate operational records, regulatory reports, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate environmental monitoring, sampling, inspections, and reporting activities
- Drive a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to company policies and environmental regulations
- Develop employee skills through coaching, training, and performance management
- Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximize system reliability
- Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues while minimizing downtime
- Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and contractor activities as needed
- Partner with landfill operations, engineering, environmental, and maintenance teams to support site objectives
- Support audits, agency inspections, permit compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
Additional Expectations:
- Provide on-call leadership support during operational upsets or emergency situations
- Ability to balance field presence with administrative and reporting responsibilities
- Participate in safety investigations, corrective actions, and environmental response efforts as needed
What We Need From You
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in landfill leachate management, injection well operations, wastewater treatment, environmental operations, or related industrial operations
- Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of pumps, pressure systems, piping networks, tanks, and fluid handling equipment
- Experience with environmental compliance, permitting, and operational reporting
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Class I injection well experience
- Landfill leachate management experience
- Knowledge of Florida environmental regulations and permitting requirements
- Mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance planning experience
- OSHA or other safety leadership training
